“PAN European Research and Innovation activities for Smart grids, Energy Storage and local Energy Systems”, Dublin (IE), 2 December 2019

On 2 December 2019, the PANTERA project held its second workshop, this time focusing on Ireland’s Smart grid, Energy Storage and Local Energy Systems Landscape: Research & Innovation Roadmap. The workshop took place in University College Dublin (UCD), Dublin, Ireland. Thanks to the expert keynote speakers from across the Irish electricity sector, more than 50 participants from national and international academic and industry bodies fruitfully shared ideas on how to achieve the energy transition climate action targets.

Irish focused case studies in Smart grid, Energy Storage and Energy Systems projects were presented from new entrant, DSO, TSO and research organization perspectives. Moreover, the PANTERA project and its platform were presented and discussed, giving the workshop participants an opportunity to give early feedback.
