Join the PANTERA Dublin Workshop: “Pan European Research and Innovation activities for Smart grids, Energy Storage and local Energy Systems”

Save the date for the upcoming PANTERA Dublin Workshop: Ireland’s Smartgrid, Energy Storage and local Energy Systems.

The Government of Ireland’s climate action plans aim to achieve a net zero carbon energy systems objective for the Irish society, and in the process, create a resilient, vibrant and sustainable country. The plan includes specific targets for renewable electricity, heat and transport and sets out sectoral roadmaps. These targets present challenges and opportunities that could be addressed by research and innovation.  The EU European Technology & Innovation Platform (ETIP) Smart Networks for Energy Transition (SNET) aims to guide Research, Innovation and Competitiveness initiatives to support the EU’s Energy Union strategy, and has set out a roadmap to achieve the objectives by 2050.

The workshop explores the opportunities and challenges for Research and Innovation in Smart Grids, Energy Storage and Local Energy Systems in Ireland, that could be facilitated through the PANTERA project. The workshop also aims to support organisations wanting to optimise their R&D efforts in the Smart Grids domain.

Project partners and stakeholders will share their experience and vision for the future of Smart Grid Research and Innovation. The participants will have the opportunity to contribute directly to the design and functionalities of the coming PANTERA platform.
