PANTERA's workshop and EIRIE live demo at the 5th Cretan Energy Conference

“The key role of the R&I unified approach across EU for boosting smart grids investments: The EIRIE platform” nano workshop took place on 9 July 2021 virtually and physically in Crete (GR), during the 5th Cretan Energy Conference.

During this hybrid nano workshop (shorter format), the PANTERA consortium presented, for the first time, the EIRIE multifunctional platform and explained its role in supporting the needed R&I unified approach across Europe.

Participants of the workshop attended a live demo of the platform (from min. 49:18 ) and witnessed the functionalities and tools offered by the EIRIE platform. Two roundtables took place following the presentations and demo during which attendees could interact with the PANTERA consortium and experts from the ministries of energy of Greece and Cyprus, as well as EU representatives (JRC).

The workshop is a part of the workshops and events of PANTERA project, which is a pan-European project aimed at setting up a forum composed of Research & Innovation stakeholders active in the fields of smart grids, including policymakers, standardisation bodies, and experts to remove the technical and policy-related barriers on the effective energy transition.
